Illegal Protest

Ok I’m sick and tired of seeing these sympathy pieces by the mainstream media that are supposed to make us feel God damn guilty about enforcing our God damned laws. Just saw this story on CNN, complete with sad story about how their son was serving in Iraq and killed. The father is being deported and is NOT ELIGIBLE for any kind of amnesty or permanent residence - and why is that? Because he was deported in 1999 and CAME BACK AGAIN ILLEGALLY. So now we are supposed to feel sad because this guy is a repeat offender illegal alien just because his son died in Iraq? That son really belongs to US because we paid for his education, we paid for his birth, we paid for his food I am sure while growing up. That boy is not really HIS son. He raised that boy on OUR dime.

Now we are getting this sob story about breaking up his family and oh we are supposed to feel badly because he has been here since what - 1982 or something ridiculous? He STILL cannot speak English! And there is NOTHING stopping his “permanent resident” wife from going home to the motherland with him. It’s NOT OUR PROBLEM and he MUST GO. I feel zero sympathy for these people. It’s very simple. You broke the law and he repeatedly broke the law. He knew the risks when he broke the law every time. Now he is paying the price. Don’t freaking cry in MY cornflakes because his son died in Iraq. These people are without shame - using their children as anchors and pawns to stay in the country. And media like CNN play right into their hands and give them the sympathy time on the tube.

Where are the stories about AMERICANS who sacrifice much and have children who die in Iraq??? Why is CNN so bent on giving sympathy to yet another illegal alien. Attention CNN - we have no sympathy for illegal aliens. We have been taken advantage of by them for TOO LONG and we are FED UP. We don’t care if they clean our toilets or pick our vegetables. We don’t want our neighborhoods turned into BARRIOS. My town is something like 40% MEXICAN now - they are all from the same freaking TOWN even in Mexico like there is some kind of express train from Puebla, Mexico to my town. I call that an invasion and I am sick and tired of 40% of my town taking handouts and working under the table not paying taxes. If they are paying taxes they are using a stolen identity. I am sure at least 30% of that 40% are ILLEGAL ALIENS and I’m SICK AND TIRED OF THIS CRAP.

Deporting Parents of Dead Soldiers?
By Domenico Maceri “I think it would be a travesty for these parents to be deported after their son died in Iraq fighting for his country,” stated Congressman Gene Green, D-Huston. Green was referring to U.S. Army Private Armando Soriano, age 20, who died in 2004 in Haditha, Iraq.
Soriano is now buried in Huston, his hometown, where his parents, undocumented workers from Mexico, are currently living. Before his death Soriano had promised his parents he’d help them get green cards. He only succeeded partially before losing his life. Although his mother was able to obtain a green card, his father did not qualify and is on the verge of being deported.
Soriano’s father is not the only person to have lost a son or daughter in the Iraq war and face deportation. There are more than 3 million people born in the U.S. with parents who came into the country illegally. Those born in the U.S. are automatically citizens and have all the rights and duties enjoyed by Americans. That includes military service with the inevitable possibility of losing one’s life.Losing a son or a daughter is always tragic. To try to compensate the families the U.S. government makes efforts to help. In the case of individuals with family members needing immigration help, officials assist them obtain green cards. That’s what happened with Soriano’s mother. But in spite of governmental flexibility, certain rules prevent some people from qualifying. Enrique Soriano, Armando’s father, had been formally deported in 1999 when he returned to Mexico for a brief visit. That makes him ineligible for any immigration benefits.

Enrique Soriano is not the only one in this predicament although exact figures are difficult to come by. Some people with sons and daughters who died in Iraq have been deported. Others have managed to obtain green cards.

Official statistics show that more than 68,000 foreign-born military individuals are serving the U.S. How many of these individuals have relatives who do not have a legal right to be in the U.S. is not known. Figures from the National Center for Immigration Law show that one in ten U.S. soldiers who have died in Iraq have been immigrants. One estimate claims that five percent of those serving in the American military are illegal immigrants who joined with false papers. The military does not recruit illegal immigrants. Yet, given the shortages of volunteers, meeting quotas may put pressure to close some eyes. Illegal immigrants may feel that joining the military will help them and their families obtain legal papers in addition to other benefits. Inevitably, some die in the process. The first soldier to die for the United States in the Iraq war was in fact Marine Lance Cpl. Jose Gutierrez, an illegal immigrant from Guatemala.

Enrique Soriano’s case is also complicated by the fact that the rest of his family has a legal right to be in the U.S. His wife has a green card, three of their four kids are U.S. citizens, and another born in Mexico has applied for a green card. If Enrique is deported, the family will have to make the hard choice of going back or separating.

Call me heartless. I don’t freaking care. Doesn’t it suck when you have to pay the price for having committed a crime?  What if Enrique had been say.. a bank robber?  Would we feel badly because he had a son die in Iraq and let him out of prison? I don’t THINK so .. but then again with the Jose Ernesto Medellin case, maybe that really WOULD happen because it seems more and more that illegal aliens are some kind of GOD DAMN PROTECTED CLASS. Meanwhile, Americans are getting the SHAFT and illegal aliens are getting away with RAPE AND MURDER.

I listened to Felipe Calderon being interviewed on ABC News this morning.

And, I have to confess, either I live in a parallel universe, or I just got it ALL wrong!

Because, you see, the funds sent back to Mexico do NOT represent the second largest source of income to Mexico.  On the contrary, THEY LOSE OUT!

Why?

Because the guys you see at the day laborer hang-outs are the BEST, the YOUNGEST, the BRAVEST and the STRONGEST of their people!  Now, in Mexico there are scientists, and doctors, and lawyers, and educators, and a variety of professinals.  I have yet to hear a more unbecoming, hurtful comment about the nation, as a whole!  Someone should translate and forward this to the Mexican media!  The illiterate dropouts, who couldn’t work their ways up to a taco stand in Mexico, and have to sneak into the US under the cover of darkness ARE THE BEST THAT NATION CAN OFFER!  Including the child molesters, drunk drivers, rapists and murderers!

When questioned whether he would do anything to curtail illegal immigration, he indicated he will try to do so — IN THE FUTURE!  Because right now IT IS IMPOSSIBLE! We’ll just have to live with it!

But we shouldn’t be concerned, with the dropping birth rate in Mexico, the whole “phenomenon” of illegal immigration COULD be over in some 10 years!

We need to be friends and allies, to be able to face giant competitors, like China.

And we need to be ALLIES FOR PROSPERITY!

And the ABC bobble head from Washington says:  “Very thoughtful answers there.”!

Lone Wolf

Finally some common sense questions about this Lakewood rally issue in the media! It’s absolutely RIDICULOUS how Lakewood and surrounding areas are treating its own legal citizens who are trying to exercise their right to free speech and protest illegal immigration. Perhaps Lakewood would rather allow gangs to run free in Lakewood or to have a citizen killed by a gang member for speaking out? If I lived in Lakewood, I would clean out every single traitorous leader in that town at the next election. It seems that includes ALL of them. Are there ANY leaders in Lakewood, NJ with a backbone???

Enough is enough.

For months, Lakewood resident Diane Reaves has been attempting to hold a
peaceful rally against illegal immigration, but she has run into roadblocks at every turn. She and her supporters are trying to exercise their First Amendment right to free speech. Lakewood officials should accommodate them. They should make it clear they are welcome to protest in a public space and police will do everything possible to ensure their safety.
Reaves originally planned the rally for Aug. 25 in the Lakewood town
square, but it was canceled amid reports of planned gang retaliation.

The township said it would not provide an increased police presence for the rally because it was against its policy to do so for private functions. That’s ridiculous. Since when is a public protest a private event? Reaves’ group has every right to voice its opinions in a public place, and the township has an obligation to provide a safe environment.

After Reaves was snubbed by Lakewood, she tried to line up two other
venues - the local American Legion post and the Old Bridge Elks lodge.
Each initially agreed to make the facilities available before backing
out. Reaves was set to hire police officers to provide security for the
Old Bridge event when she received a message Tuesday that the lodge
would not host her rally because the Elks “were not sectarian and
non-political.”

It’s sickening that rallies held across the country protesting U.S. immigration policies - and swarming with illegal immigrants - received the police protection these legal U.S. citizens are being denied.

Lakewood wasted about $40,000 last year to provide a “muster zone” for contractors to hire mostly illegal immigrants. It went unused - the workers snubbed it - and was dismantled. Why can’t the town provide added security for a rally for its legal residents?

In a mass e-mail to her supporters, Reaves pleaded for someone to tell
her that her inability to find a site to hold a rally was a dream. Township officials and police in Lakewood should wake up instead, recognize her plight and help find a safe, public place for Reaves and her supporters to speak their minds.

Excellent editorial on the very stale argument trying to paint patriotic Americans who oppose illegal immigration as racists.  And this guy is from “the left” to boot!   This is a very succinct and intelligent take on the attempt by the open borders illegal alien sympathizers who try to paint all Americans who oppose illegal immigration as racists. I love when they do so while wearing black masks on their faces as well.. sort of the pot calling the kettle black so to speak..

It’s actually a trick question. Some of them are, for sure. Racists will always join any movement critical of immigration. So what? This entire argument rests on a fallacious assumption. That the presence of one group in a movement means that all of the other members of the movement share the feelings of that one group.

It’s a very well-known logical fallacy and I wish I could name it for you. It’s very important for aware folks to become aware of all of the logical fallacies out there, because people are using these BS arguments to try to convince you of this or that all that time. Fact is, if you change your mind due to a logical fallacy, you are being fooled. If you do so knowingly, you are a fool. If you use logical fallacies in your arguments, you are either ignorant, a fool or a knowing liar.

People without an argument regularly use this argument to tar opponents with the “crime of association”. This particular logical fallacy is very widely used and manages to convince hundreds of millions of fools of this or that every year the world over.

Yet, just because I associate with someone, or anyone, does not mean that I share any, all or some of their views. Some of the folks I associate with claim to be gang members.

They are kids who live in my apartment complex. I am friends with a Black guy in my complex who wears a stocking over his head, gangster-style. One of the guys I was drinking with at the bar the other night looked like he just got out of prison and had a shirt on with an apparent gang logo.

I’m also friends with a guy who is a White Nationalist-White Supremacist racist, with the usual Nazi sympathies. He pretty much refuses to even so much as speak with anyone who is not White, especially Blacks and Browns. I don’t agree with him, but I’m not going to dissociate with him.

I have friends who are rightwing Republicans and others who are leftwing Democrats and a few who are Communists.

To say that I agree with all of these people would be impossible, as they all hold contradictory views.

Which leads us to the anti-illegal immigration movement. The fact is, a large majority of Americans are opposed to illegal immigration, often ferociously so. Surveys show that 75-80% of Americans are against illegal immigration, and they seem to be getting madder about it every day.

In other words, opposing illegal immigration is simply normal, reasonable American politics. It’s not fanatical or racist or anything like that, unless one wants to make the crazy claim that 80% of Americans are raving racists.

The open borders loons want a completely open border, not just in the South but apparently everywhere. In their insane plan, every single “immigrant”, or now, “migrant” (the words keep changing as they become stigmatized) who strolls across the border gets automatic US citizenship, apparently without any background checks or anything unpleasant like that.

Sure the movement has racists in it, but any rational person also knows that probably the vast majority of those opposing illegal immigration are not profoundly racist people, and if one is opposed to illegal immigration on principle, one is keeping company with 75-80% of the population, including, surely, sadly, but inevitably, some nasty racists.
