Postville Iowa Illegal Aliens trying to claim “they didn’t know it was illegal”

July 13th, 2008

This needs to be filed under “YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!” Sadly, it is actually going to spur HEARINGS from the House Judiciary Committee because now Rep Zoe Lofgren apparently does NOT understand how the laws in this country work and that you cannot claim ignorance of the laws and escape punishment. That fact is codified in the statement I have heard ALL MY LIFE from law enforcement and it goes like this :

IGNORANCE OF THE LAW IS NO EXCUSE

If this is allowed to go as far as HEARINGS by our so-called political representatives in Congress, it will be yet another blow to the rule of law in this country, as our so-called political representatives debate whether or not we need to hold illegal aliens to the same legal standards as citizens. Yes folks, that is the only thing that can come from this. It really could happen that even at our highest levels of government, illegal aliens will be excused from their illegal behavior “because they didn’t know it was illegal”. Meanwhile, you and I are held to the standard of “ignorance of the law is no excuse”.

We need to NIP THIS ONE IN THE BUD folks and I provide contact information for the culprits behind this farce as well as a link to contact info on ALL the House Judiciary Committe members and let’s get the phones ringing off the hook. Make no mistake about it, if these Postville illegal aliens are allowed to say that they “didn’t know it was illegal to use the Social Security Card with someone else’s name on it” it will open the door to all illegal aliens claiming ignorance of our laws as a way to escape punishment. Rep Zoe Lofgren SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF HERSELF. But then again she comes from San Francisco where there are very few laws which are followed apparently.

Thanks to Michael Cutler for alerting me and others to this article in the New York Times.

An Interpreter Speaking Up for Migrants ( where’s my tiny violin? )

In 23 years as a certified Spanish interpreter for federal courts, Erik Camayd-Freixas has spoken up in criminal trials many times, but the words he uttered were rarely his own. Dr Erik Camayd-Freixas

Then he was summoned here by court officials to translate in the hearings for nearly 400 illegal immigrant workers arrested in a raid on May 12 at a meatpacking plant. Since then, Mr. Camayd-Freixas, a professor of Spanish at Florida International University, has taken the unusual step of breaking the code of confidentiality among legal interpreters about their work.

In a 14-page essay he circulated among two dozen other interpreters who worked here, Professor Camayd-Freixas wrote that the immigrant defendants whose words he translated, most of them villagers from Guatemala, did not fully understand the criminal charges they were facing or the rights most of them had waived.

In the essay and an interview, Professor Camayd-Freixas said he was taken aback by the rapid pace of the proceedings and the pressure prosecutors brought to bear on the defendants and their lawyers by pressing criminal charges instead of deporting the workers immediately for immigration violations.

He said defense lawyers had little time or privacy to meet with their court-assigned clients in the first hectic days after the raid. Most of the Guatemalans could not read or write, he said. Most did not understand that they were in criminal court.

“The questions they asked showed they did not understand what was going on,” Professor Camayd-Freixas said in the interview. “The great majority were under the impression they were there because of being illegal in the country, not because of Social Security fraud.”

During fast-paced hearings in May, 262 of the illegal immigrants pleaded guilty in one week and were sentenced to prison — most for five months — for knowingly using false Social Security cards or legal residence documents to gain jobs at the Agriprocessors kosher meat plant in nearby Postville. It was the largest criminal enforcement operation ever carried out by immigration authorities at a workplace.

The essay has provoked new questions about the Agriprocessors proceedings, which had been criticized by criminal defense and immigration lawyers as failing to uphold the immigrants’ right to due process. Representative Zoe Lofgren, Democrat of California and chairwoman of the House Judiciary immigration subcommittee, said she would hold a hearing on the prosecutions and call Professor Camayd-Freixas as a witness.

“The essay raises questions about whether the charges brought were supported by the facts,” Ms. Lofgren said.

Bob Teig, a spokesman for Matt M. Dummermuth, the United States attorney for the Northern District of Iowa, said the immigrants’ constitutional rights were not compromised.

Loophole in Ohio Law Allows Drunk Illegal Aliens to Kill Americans and it’s Just a Misdemeanor

May 19th, 2008

We already know there are two sets of laws in this country but this highlights the absurdity of it even more. Clearly the law abiding citizens are getting screwed from every direction. Meanwhile, illegal aliens sneak into our country, assume a fake identity, drive without insurance or a license and work for cash under the table and if they smash into someone on the highway in Ohio and kill anyone - they just receive a slap on the wrist. But if an Ohio citizen has the exact same car accident, they will be charged with a felony and probably be sued for everything they have. The illegal alien? He just shrugs and takes on another identity and goes about his business of taking American jobs, taking taxpayer funded handouts and raising his anchor baby American citizen.

Barr FamilyTake a good look at this family portrait and realize that this little girl’s father is now dead and the scumbag illegal alien who killed him was only charged with a misdemeanor. This illegal alien should not have been here in the first place to end the life of this family’s father and husband. But to trivialize his death by allowing little to no punishment for this tragedy is beyond comprehension. Our justice system no longer operates with common sense and it is a sign of a declining nation in my opinion. What’s next? Will the victims of these crashes have to pay for the medical costs of the illegal alien who caused the crash? That’s only one small step away from the current injustice going on in this country. Screw the citizen - promote the illegal alien slaves. Apparently the people in power in this country prefer third world slaves to uppity citizens any day.

DOVER — You can get a break under Ohio law if you crash your car and kill somebody–provided you don’t have a driver’s license. Legal experts say there is a technical loophole in the Ohio Revised Code.

Illegal immigrants who crash and kill are only charged with a misdemeanor and not a felony. Ohio drivers with a valid license would be charged with a felony for the same crime.

Dover resident, John Barr, was driving home from work to his wife, Kelly, and 3-year old daughter last June. Barr’s life ended in a violent crash.
His dark purple Ford Taurus was crushed by a dump truck that was forced into him by a car driven by an illegal immigrant from Guatemala.

Juan Usralios had no valid license. Amanda Spies, the Tuscarawas County prosecutor initially charged Usralios with involuntary manslaughter, a felony offense. However, Spies discovered there is no language in the Ohio Revised Code to charge Usralios with a felony because he wasn’t driving with a suspended license or any license at all.

Kelly Barr told Channel 3’s Mike O’Mara, “I am angry and I am still grieving on a daily basis. So is my daughter. We deal with that every day. I cry every day.”

Kelly says she was devastated when she learned that Usralios was only charged with a misdemeanor.
But Amanda Spies told Channel 3 that she had no choice under Ohio law.

“Normally at first glance this looks like a felony offense,” said Spies. “And then when you start reading word for word you realize there is a big hole in the law that Mr. Usralios happened to fall into.”

Kelly has vowed to help change the Ohio law.
She says she owes it to her daughter, Allison who is now four years old. Her cousin, Kelly S. Barr, is helping with the petition drive.

“We have to do something about this,” said Kelly S. Barr. “It breaks my heart to know that Allison will not see her dad.”

“Why is this crime only a misdemeanor?” she asked.

John’s widow, Kelly, said, “being angry, yelling, crying isn’t going to get me somewhere with the law. I need to be as smart as I can. I want our state legislators to do something to fix this.”

State Representative Allan Sayre, from Dover has introduced House Bill 512 which would close the loophole.

State representatives, Stephen Dyer from Green, Jennifer Brady from Westlake, Edna Brown from Toledo, Joseph Koziura from Lorain, Lorraine Fende from Willowick, and Mark Okey from Carrollton have all declared their support for the H.B. 512.

Currently House Bill 512 is waiting for review by the Criminal Justice Committee with no timetable for any decision.

Since last summer there have been two more fatal accidents on State Route 250. Both involved illegal immigrants with no license. Both men were only charged with a misdemeanors.
If you want to contact Kelly Barr regarding H.B.512 you can write to: ohb512@yahoo.com

NJ Illegal Alien from Mexico Charged in Murder of Two Children

March 14th, 2008

More of those “family values” we are importing from Mexico I suppose. Is this what you want to be importing for the sake of having some cheap labor to pick vegetables, butcher animals in plants, clean our motel rooms etc? I’d like every business owner who hires illegal aliens to think about the kind of people they are bringing here and exposing THEIR NEIGHBORS and THEIR COMMUNITY to. Their blood in ON YOUR HANDS!

TOMS RIVER — An illegal immigrant from Mexico was sentenced this morning to two, toledo piece of shit consecutive life terms in prison for murdering the children of a Stafford Township family that took him into their home.

In addition, Superior Court Judge Barbara Ann Villano sentenced Richard Toledo to 30 years in prison for kidnapping the children’s mother, telling her that her boys were fine but threatening their safety if she didn’t do what he said while, all along, he knew the boys were dead.

“All of this is so cruel and depraved that it is almost beyond comprehension,” Villano said in sentencing the 23-year-old defendant during an emotional, tearful proceeding that spanned about an hour and a half.

Toledo will never be eligible for release on parole for the murder of Zabdiel Gonzalez because the boy was 7 years old when Toledo killed him with a clawhammer in his family’s home on Middie Lane in the Manahawkin section of Stafford Township on Jan. 19, 2006.

Toledo pleaded guilty Feb. 8 to the murders of Zabdiel and his brother Karlo, 14, and to kidnapping the mother of the boys, Wanda Gonzalez, after he brutally beat both boys to death with the clawhammer.

“‘I still do not know what it was that we did to that man to merit such an act of hatred,” said Carlos Gonzalez, the boys’ father, while Toledo hung his head, never glancing at the survivors of his victims.

“‘We fed him. We put a roof over his head,” Carlos Gonzalez said of Toledo. “‘We treated him as family. When he was out of work, we did not ask for anything from him and gave him understanding.”

First Assistant Ocean County Prosecutor Ronald F. DeLigny said robbery was the motive. The Gonzalez family had a large amount of money in their bank account from a recent refinance of the mortgage on their home. Toledo forced Wanda Gonzalez at knifepoint to withdraw $500 from an automated teller machine - the maximum amount the machine would dispense - before driving north on the Garden State Parkway, where the woman escaped when Toledo stopped for gas at the Monmouth Service Area in Wall.

“I want you to look into my face and tell me - why my children?” Wanda Gonzalez said to Toledo during the sentencing.

Toledo continued to hang his head toward the floor.

“‘How could there be people who would be able to take the life of two children, and how can I continue living without them by my side?” the boy’s mother said.

“‘The murder of children is the most unspeakable crime,” Villano told the children’s parents. “‘I can only hope you have the strength to recover.”

Although Toledo cannot be considered for release on parole for his sentence for the murder of Zabdiel, he is subject to the state’s No Early Release Act, requiring a prisoner to serve 85 percent of a term before parole consideration, for Karlo’s murder and for the mother’s kidnapping.

Villano ordered the prison term for the kidnapping be served consecutive to the sentences for the two murders.

Meanwhile in other areas of New Jersey, such as Lakewood, we have politicians pandering to illegal aliens and inviting the same caliber of people to live among the legal residents of New Jersey and this country. Here’s another example from Lakewood area news of some of those fine family values - gee these illegal aliens have such an enterprising spirit no?

LAKEWOOD — A day after members of the Ocean County Special Operations team descended on an Alamitros Drive home and seized more than 500 bags of heroin, the task force seized a large quantity of cocaine from a New Central Avenue residence.

Five people were arrested Thursday after authorities found 400 grams of cocaine and 12 bags of heroin worth an estimated $12,000 while executing a search warrant, Ocean County Prosecutor Marlene Lynch Ford announced today.

Joe Correa, 22, Carmen Velasquez, 44, Juan Torres, 27, and Jonathan Correa, 19, all live at 1971 New Central Ave. when members of the Lakewood Police Department enterred the home. Also arrested was Jose Claudio, 26, who resides at 780 River Avenue, apartment 48.

All four are charged with possession of a controlled, dangerous substance and
possession with intent to distribute. Ocean County superior Court Judge Wendell Daniels set bail at $150,000 each with no 10 percent option.

During the raid, authorities also seized a 2002 Toyota Camry, a digital scale and
$1,000 cash.

A sixth arrest warrant was also issued for Abetzabel Reyes, 18, of Lakewood, who
remains at large.

Los Angeles Hispanic Gangs Ethnic Cleansing Black Americans

March 11th, 2008

Now in most cases, cleansing is a good thing. But when it involves killing people because of the color of their skin, well that’s not such a good thing. But that’s exactly what Los Angeles has allowed to happen with their Special Order 40 protecting illegal aliens. By protecting illegal aliens in Los Angeles, they have created a THIRD WORLD in a US city. And who do you have to thank for that? Well start with people like Antonio Villaraigosa who would love to be the mayor of Aztlan apparently!

In Los Angeles, Hispanic Gangs Ethnically Cleansing Black Neighborhoods

By Brenda Walker

If Washington wanted to develop a vibrant underworld of vicious criminal gangs, it couldn’t do any better than the immigration system now in place. The permissiveness toward lawbreaking border-crossers combined with the pure numbers of immigrants who cannot possibly be assimilated in such bulk has created a witches’ brew of crime-spawning social pathology. The worst creatures are the Hispanic gangsters who kill innocent Americans in order to illustrate aptitude for savagery.

A recent heart-breaking example: the slaughter on March 2 of 17-year-old Jamiel Shaw, Jr. The South Los Angeles high school student was shot dead just a few doors from home by two Latino men who jumped from a car and demanded to know to which gang he belonged. When he didn’t answer, they shot him down. His father heard the shots and went outside to see his boy bleeding on the sidewalk. [A youth ‘on track’ until fatal gunfire, By Paloma Esquivel, Paul Pringle and Francisco Vara-Orta, LA Times, March 4, 2008]

Jamiel had no gang connections. He was apparently just another random victim of Hispanic gangsters killing blacks to drive them out of their corner of Aztlan. The promising football star had received inquiries from Stanford and Rutgers universities about a possible athletic scholarship. His mother, Army Sgt. Anita Shaw, was called home from her second tour of duty in Iraq after the murder of her son.

The family is crushed. Dad Jamiel Sr. said they have “simply lost everything.”

No arrests have been made in the case. The family is asking the public for help in bringing the killers to justice.

The murder has some similarities to the barbaric shooting of 14-year-old Cheryl Green in December of 2006. The eighth-grade student is said to have strayed into the territory of the 204th Street Latino gang, known for its anti-black racism; she was certainly killed because of her race and because of America’s refusal to enforce immigration law.

Two Hispanic men, both members of the 204th Street gang, were arrested a few months later for Cheryl’s murder. One, Ernesto Alcarez, is apparently an illegal alien.

The other gangster, Jonathan Fajardo, is the son of immigrants from Belize. He is also accused in the killing of a witness in connection with the Green shooting. Christopher Ash, 25, died of multiple stab wounds and a slit throat.

The City of the Angels recently experienced a daytime gang battle that brought out the police SWAT team and closed down dozens of blocks for six hours. Several schools were locked down for that time.

Veteran L.A. Police Department officials described the bizarre midday shootings—and the widespread disruption they caused—as highly unusual even in an area known for gang activity. It left the neighborhood littered with shell casings and its residents fearful.

Police blamed the incident on the notorious Avenues gang, which has cast a wide shadow over districts north of downtown L.A. for decades and continues to be active despite several high-profile attempts by authorities to shut it down. [Gang mayhem cripples large area, LA Times, February 22, 2008]

Los Angeles used to be a wonderful American city. Now that it has become Mexican (in the words of former Mayor Hahn), LA is a preview of the future America. It should alarm many more citizens into pro-sovereignty activism.

No American should have to live in such conditions. No citizen child should have to stay indoors to be safe from rampaging foreigners. Living with a reasonable expectation of protection against crime is part of inhabiting a first-world country. We spend a lot of money on police and prisons.

Hispanic gangsters are reconquistas with baggy pants and tattoos. They are ethnically cleansing black citizens out of parts of LA now, but indications are more of the same for the rest of us—first through the Southwest, next in America as a whole. Crime works well as a technique of the low-intensity warfare that is part and parcel of immigration as invasion.
