Yes, Texas Has Been Invaded - Laredo Ranch Story Has Been Confirmed

August 10th, 2010

The recent story on Los Zetas seizing a ranch or ranches in a border area north of Laredo, Texas, has now been confirmedKimbery Dvorak, the original reporter of this incident, has now provided a picture taken by her law enforcement source cartelsshowing the incident report on his police cruiser data terminal for 7/24:

“On Friday 7-23-10 Laredo Webb informed that their county SWAT Team is conducting an operation in the Mines Rd. area. According to LT. Garcia with LSO (Laredo Sheriff Office) received a call from a ranch owner stating that the Zetas had taken over his ranch. As per the 17 (reporting person) he informed them that they stated La Compania (Zetas) was taking the ranch and no one was permitted on the ranch without permission. SO (Sheriff Office) will have an unmarked green Ford Taurus with two officers stationed at Los Compadres and a white Chevy Tahoe with two officers stationed at Mineral Rd. The LSO (Laredo Sheriff Office) will maintain surveillance in the area and advise if action is taken. Susp (suspect) Veh (vehicle) are described as a gray or silver Audi, a BLK (black) Escalade or Navigator and a van truck with a logo of a car wash spot free on the side. Border Patrol also has their response team on scene. Also known info of BMW’s and Corvettes entering and leaving the area. Auth LT Lichtenberger if assistance is requested LPD (Laredo Police Department) will secure the outer perimeter. (07/24/10 07:42:10 NR1873)”

Soon after her original report, the attacks began upon Kim and also on Dan from Digger’s Realm, who helped to spread Kim’s original story.  The attacks came from the open borders groups, the lefties and even some on the right, who were quick to claim that this story was a “hoax” because Kim would not identify her source.  Mainstream journalists do this all the time - report a story without an identified source - because the most explosive stories would risk the job or life of the source. If a reporter identifies this source against their wishes, do you think it would encourage others to leak this information in the future?

One of the most virulent attackers had an entry on, which is surprising, since Andrew Breitbart is himself a “citizen journalist”.  The author of the editorial, Bob Owens, also writing for his own blog The Confederate Yankee, titled his piece “No, Texas Has Not Been Invaded”.  Incredibly, Bob Owens did not do any of his own research to base his rebuttal upon. He simply decided that since Kimberly would not identify her source, that she had made it up. Really Bob?  One has to wonder why someone who would attack other bloggers supposedly on the same side of an issue, is writing for BigGovernment in the first place. It seems Bob Owens might be more at home on Politico or Daily Kos from the way he attacked Kimberly and Dan.

And the SPLC, from their smug, self-righteous, racist perch in Alabama, declared this story a fake, without doing any of their own research whatsoever.    Media Matters joined in the feeding frenzy with their uninformed dismissal of the story as well. While they pointed the finger at Kimberly, saying how could she know what was happening in Texas when she lived in San Diego - the same critics were also not in Texas! I enjoy watching these liars try to wipe the egg from their lying faces. I’m sure they will continue to claim it’s a hoax - because they will want to protect their lying asses from the truth and keep you from believing the truth as well.

LaredoGateYou can read the backgrounder of these attacks over at Digger’s Realm - which Dan has named “LaredoGate” - a full 5 part report on the original story and the ensuing attack by both left and right on his and Kim’s reputations.  Dan also delves into the apparent media coverup, starting with the Laredo Morning Times all the way up to Fox News, who refused to even give the story any air time whatsoever.

The original story spread like wildfire - as it SHOULD have - because the story is about a violent Mexican drug cartel  that had crossed into the US and seized a ranch owned by a US citizen.

On the SAME weekend of July 23rd, two Zeta leaders were captured by US law enforcement in a “joint operation” in Brownsville, Texas.  Several things come to mind when you read of the second story out of Brownsville. Why was there a “joint operation” underway in South Texas that was apparently targeting Zetas?  And what did the Brownsville “joint operation” have to do with Laredo and the ranches seized by Zetas?

A second alleged Zeta hitman has been taken into custody in Brownsville, according federal officials.

Luis Alberto Blanco Flores, also known as “El Pelochas,” 29, is in the custody of the U.S. Marshals Service.

Nina Pruneda, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement spokeswoman, said Blanco was arrested on July 23 during a joint operation that included ICE Homeland Security Investigations, U.S. Border Patrol and Brownsville police

According to court documents, Blanco was arrested for re-entering the country illegally after having been deported on Sept. 16, 2003. After Blanco concludes his pending legal matters with the U.S. government, he will be turned over to Mexican authorities, Pruneda said.

According to Mexican law enforcement officials, Blanco is affiliated with the Zetas criminal organization and worked under Arturo Castillo, also known as “El Apache.”

Castillo was arrested a day later in the same interagency operation on the charge of illegal entry and is also in the custody of the U.S. Marshals Service, Pruneda said. Castillo faces extradition to Mexico, she said.

Is this not very alarming that Zeta leaders have been arrested IN THE US and that maybe some ranches along the Texas border have been seized by the same drug cartel, even if only for a short time?????  At what point do we say enough is enough and demand the security that we pay the Federal government for?

Another thing learned from this experience - as citizen journalists trying to find the truth - is that the mainstream media is desperate to discredit citizen bloggers. That fact was made quite clear as a result of the hysteria and claims of “hoax” that circulated throughout the blogosphere regarding this original story.  The goal of outfits like the SPLC and Media Matters, is to confuse people so that they don’t know what is the truth and that part is working.   If you can’t trust regular people who are trying to report the truth when they see it - you might as well stop reading news altogether because it will all just seem like fiction if you believe the lies of the propaganda machine

Governor Jan Brewer supports Amnesty for Illegal Aliens? Say It Isn’t So Jan!

August 1st, 2010

Jan Brewer Que Pasa?Critics have claimed that Governor Jan Brewer has picked this fight over SB1070 for political gain for her upcoming gubenatorial election campaign and now that claim might have some merit.  Apparently, she made the statement supporting “Comprehensive Immigration Reform” on July 1st in Sedona, Arizona to the Sedona Men’s Republican Club.

“My plan is to tell the federal government to do their job, and their job is to secure our border,” Brewer said. “We’re going to get our border secure, and then we need to talk about what we can do about a comprehensive immigration reform package.

Brewer said she supports immigration reform, but border security should come first. She said lawmakers have failed because they want immigration reform before tackling border security.

Apparently Governor Brewer does not realize that a large majority of Americans do NOT want to reward illegal alien behavior with any kind of amnesty. We don’t care what fancy name you want to give it - ANY path to legalization for those who came here illegally - either by sneaking across the border OR over staying a VISA - is simply encouragement for more to come here the same way.

Does she not realize that when President Reagan granted the 1986 Amnesty - we were told NEVER AGAIN would we grant amnesty to illegal aliens??? We were also told the border would be secured to stop the flow of illegal aliens.  We know that promise has never been kept and that 1986 amnesty has caused illegal immigration to increase since then by 20 times!  In 1986 we were dealing with only a million or so illegal aliens. Now we have 20 million!  Americans are tired of being lied to and we do NOT want or need “Comprehensive Immigration Reform”.

We simply need to enforce ALL of the existing laws against illegal immigration - including employing, smuggling, aiding, abeting, or harboring illegal aliens. Prosecute the employers, the churches that give them Sanctuary, the cities that give them Sanctuary and put our troops on our OWN border to protect US instead of worrying about every other country in the world besides the US!

Please contact Governor Jan Brewer and tell her your you do NOT support “Comprehensive Immigration Reform” now or ever!

So-Called “American” Arrested for Raping 19 Women in Mexico

April 7th, 2009

Yeah this guy sounds real “American” -  Jorge Alberto Mendez. He’s 42 years old which means he probably was a former illegal alien who got amnesty in 1986.  How much do you want to bet? Yet now he is an “American” and he is crossing into Mexico and raping Mexican women.  I can’t WAIT to see MALDEF and the National Council of La Raza make a big stink about this UNTIL they realize this “American” barely speaks English and came to this country illegally and got amnesty in 1986. Then they will become very quiet because Mr Mendez is actually the poster boy for why we should NOT give amnesty to illegal aliens.

Here’s the story on Fox News :

CIUDAD JUAREZ, Mexico —  A Texas man has been arrested for allegedly raping 19 women across the border in the northern Mexican city of Ciudad Juarez, authorities said Monday.

dirtbag  Jorge Alberto Mendez, 42, was arrested Saturday while trying to cross into Mexico from El Paso, Texas, where he lives, said regional Deputy Attorney General Alejandro Pariente.

Pariente said the investigation began in April 2008 with the rape of a 15-year-old girl. Similar cases were subsequently reported.

Pariente said Mendez prowled residential neighborhoods during the day and attacked at night, sometimes entering bedrooms through windows. He allegedly threatened his victims — between 13 and 20 years old — with a gun.

One of the victims managed to write down the license plate number of her assailant, which eventually led to Mendez’s arrest, Pariente said.

Ciudad Juarez, a battleground in Mexico’s drug war, has a history of violence against women.

Oh yeah - a real nice “Texas man” - ummmm no.. He’s a Mexican and always will be and he does not belong being an “American”. He is a disgrace to all Mexicans and proves my point that giving amnesty to illegals (if that is where he came from - I will confirm) is like giving criminals the keys to your house. You can’t be sure who they are - they are using fake identities and you think you have done a background check on them?

What do you bet this neoplasm of scum sucking crud gets less time than the two Border Agents. This guy used a gun to rape girls and women - and that’s an automatic ten years in prison for using a gun while committing a crime. What do you bet he gets MCUH less than that?

Here’s some background info on Jorge Mendez.  Born August 4th, 1966 in Torreon, Coahuila. In 1986 he married Claudia Ramirez, an American citizen. So he got his citizenship through marrying an “American”. I am betting Claudia is about as American as he is.  Wonder where Claudia Ramirez is now? I bet this was one of those scam marriages - how much did you pay Jorge?

Here’s another story with more details:

JUAREZ, Mexico — An El Paso man is a suspect in the rapes of 19 Juarez women, Chihuahua state police announced at a news conference on Monday.

Forty-three-year-old Jorge Alberto Mendez Navarro, of the 3200 block of Memphis, has been charged in only one of the rape cases, that of a 15-year-old girl.

Mendez Navarro, a naturalized U.S. citizen, is an engineer in El Paso. He is accused of attacking mainly students between 13 and 20 years old.

He allegedly raped his victims on Tuesdays and Fridays when he could justify being away from home, according to police.

The suspect allegedly chose locations close to the international bridges to rape his victims because if there was trouble he could easily run back across to the U.S.

He would allegedly talk to victims first to earn their trust, threaten them with a gun and after committing the rape, he would leave the victims completely naked.

El Paso police collaborated with Chihuahua law enforcement on the case. They were able to trace the license plates of the 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe Mendez Navarro drove. The suspect changed plates once before when an alleged victim took note of the plate number.

He is in jail in Juarez awaiting trial.

Can we revoke his American citizenship please????

88 Year Old Church Going Man Arrested in Mexico on Trumped Up Charges - Mexico sees $$$

January 20th, 2009

Does anyone really need any more reason to AVOID MEXICO for ANY REASON ?  Now we have this case that shows the depth of corruption in Mexico and that they will stop at nothing to extort money from elsewhere.  This is how desperate the situation is in Mexico and I don’t know why any American would go there at this point.  Read the following horrific story and CALL YOUR CONGRESSMAN and SENATORS to have them get this poor guy and his grandson RELEASED IMMEDIATELY from the MEXICAN PRISON!     badgeman

Family protests Arlington man’s jailing in Mexico

The family of an Arlington man and son blames corruption for their arrest.

ARLINGTON — Edward Chrisman just wanted to take a day trip across the Mexican border with his grandson.

Now, the 88-year-old Arlington man and his grandson are being held in a Mexican federal prison with no release in sight.

Chrisman was spending his winter in Yuma, Ariz., when his grandson, Gary Chrisman Jr., invited him along on a trip to get inexpensive dental treatment.

Mexican police arrested the pair Jan. 8 on pornography charges after Gary Chrisman took a photo of two fully clothed young women in a convenience store in Algodones, Mexico.

For nearly two weeks the Chrismans’ family has been scrambling. Both men say they are innocent. Their relatives are convinced the pair are victims of a corrupt system attempting to shake down the family for cash, said Shannon Perkins, Edward Chrisman’s granddaughter.

She and her father, Gary Chrisman Sr. of Yuma, have traveled across the border daily.

“When they see Americans, they see money,” Perkins said of the Mexican justice officials they’ve met. “Every one of them is crooked.”

Edward Chrisman is an unlikely international criminal.

An Arlington resident for most of his life, Chrisman is described by family as a religious man who has attended the Arlington Assembly of God Church for decades. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He worked as a civil service machinist for the Navy before retiring years ago.

Edward Chrisman was married to his wife, Norma, for 63 years. He cared for her until her death from Alzheimer’s in 2007.

“How in heaven’s name could this happen in our world today?” asked Kathy Carlin, who works at Chrisman’s church. “Talk about the epitome of innocent. This just blows me away.”

The church of 350 is in shock, she said. Chrisman is “like the church grandpa,” she said.

Here’s what family says happened:

Chrisman and his 40-year-old grandson traveled from Yuma to Algodones, Mexico, eight miles south. The town is known for offering heavily discounted prescriptions and cut-rate medical and dental care.

After Gary Chrisman’s dental work, the pair stopped at a convenience store. Edward Chrisman waited in the car while his grandson went to buy a soda. Gary Chrisman said he asked a family in the convenience store if he could pay them $25 to take their photos. He’d been taking photos of Mexican culture all day with a new camera.

The mother granted permission and took his money. He snapped headshots of her two daughters, 17 and 18, and left the store.

The elder Chrisman never got out of the car.

Local police arrested both men a few minutes later. Their money, passports and other belongings were taken. The pair were placed in a holding cell in Morelos. The charge: “intent for pornography.”

The men later told family that for two days they had nothing to eat and no place to use the bathroom. On the third day, a charitable organization brought them food, blankets and an old mattress to sleep on. Gary Chrisman asked the man delivering the items to contact his family.

Gary Chrisman’s family hired a Mexican lawyer, who seemed confident the charges had no merit. After six days, the case was brought in front of a judge. Both men were asked questions about their annual incomes. The family was told both men were found innocent. The judge said they’d be released the next day.

But when the family came to pick up the men, authorities said the verdict had been changed. Both men were transferred to a prison in Mexicali, the capital of the Mexican state of Baja California Norte.

Authorities refused to share court documents with the family.

Perkins fears her grandfather won’t survive.

Saturday, the only visiting day, Perkins waited in line for hours to see the two. They were being held in a concrete cell with 40 other prisoners. The room had one toilet and her grandfather had been sleeping on a metal bed frame with no mattress.

He looked dehydrated and disoriented, she said. The prisoners leave the cell twice a day, when they’re shackled together and ordered to move at a jog to the cafeteria. At one point, her grandfather couldn’t keep up and a guard shoved him, Perkins said.

Her grandfather is a soft-spoken, gentle man, she said. He didn’t complain.

“He’s a trouper,” she said.

Family in Yuma have contacted legislators, including Sen. John McCain’s office, and the U.S. consulate in Mexico.

“The U.S. Consulate repeatedly told us all they can do legally is make sure the prisoners are cared for and treated humanely,” Perkins said. “They can’t advise us.”

They also tried to contact Congressman Rick Larson and Sen. Patty Murray.

The consulate has suggested another Mexican lawyer and started an investigation. No trial date has been set. The family has been told the pair could linger in prison for months.

Calls from The Herald to the Mexican Secretary of Public Security in Baja California, the organization that runs the courts, were not answered.

Perkins said that her family already has paid $3,000 to attorneys and others in the Mexican justice system, all of whom offered resolution in the case.

Guilt or innocence seems immaterial, Perkins said, adding “The longer you’re there, the more money you pay.”

La Raza del Noroueste Reporter Alejandro Dominguez contributed to this story.

I, as an American, am sick and tired of tolerating this crap-hole of a country at our southern border. It’s time we get tough with Mexico.  How would they like it if we started rounding up Mexicans here illegally and held them in prisons? Oh yeah that’s what ICE is supposed to do.. wouldn’t it be nice if they actually did such a thing????
