New Haven Mayor compares enforcing immigration law to water boarding!

March 14th, 2008

Destefano asshatSad but true - Mayor John DeStefano, an elected official who swore to uphold the Constitution of the United States AND the Constitution of Connecticut has actually stated in public that enforcing immigration laws is like water boarding and those who seek to have our laws enforced are hate groups and racists. So do you consult with the National Council of La Raza much Mr Mayor?

Thankfully there are patriots like Community Watchdog Project in New Haven who are making us all aware of how idiotic the Mayor of New Haven Connecticut is. Talk about HATE SPEECH! He is accusing this group of burning down churches and being racist without a SHRED of EVIDENCE to back it up. He is just like NCLR - obviously reading about the methods of famous Nazi propagandist Joseph Goebbels “if you repeat a lie often enough people will come to believe it”. Well Americans are not as stupid as you think Mayor and we are pissed off at people like you and your time in office will be very short now that you have revealed yourself to be anti-American and pro-invasion.

Read the story and see the video over here at Community Watchdog Project’s site.

Tonight Roger Wilk and I (Dustin W. Gold) went to the Mark Twain House to see an illegal immigration forum featuring Mayor John DeStefano, Mayor Mark Boughton, and Tamar Jacoby. There was roughly 150 people in attendance, in additon to several media outlets.

About half way through the forum Mayor DeStefano had a temper tantrum, and began attacking Roger and I, and accused Community Watchdog Project of being a “hate group”. One member of the audience scolded the Mayor for accusing us of being racist, but he said that it was the truth and was based on our actions.

This is the second time that the Mayor has publicly accused our group of things that just aren’t true. The other was the 2008 State of the City Address.

We have also been informed that during a meeting of the “ministers” at the Mayor’s Office on Thursday, January 31, 2008, the Mayor was in favor of attacking the character of one of our founders, Alan Felder. One of the ministers was very upset and refused to take part in any public smearing of CWP. We thank you very much for professionalism, and will prove to you that you have made the right decision.

As for you Mr. Mayor, we are not anti-immigrant or racist. We are anti-illegal immigration, anti-law breaking, anti-pandering, and anti-exploitation. Just because we do not agree with your support of encouraging illegal activity does not mean that we are racist or anti-immigrant.
