Way to go Target! Finally a chain store with the kahunas to stand up to the Latino agenda! I will bet that we will see more of this since the case against Joey Vento was dropped recently - and the ruling stated it was NOT discriminating to put a sign in your place of business that states “Speak English”. Amazing! Now if we can just get rid of the “Press 1 for English” on business voice mail messages we will be moving in the right direction!

Let me make this perfectly clear. To demand people in this country learn the language of the country to become a citizen is NOT racist and is NOT discriminating. France has been adamant about that for decades! Just try going to France and expecting them to speak English - even if they KNOW English, they are proud of their language and they aren’t catering to any other country even if they ARE tourists.

Somehow in this country, we have turned into a population of people who are not proud of their language or their country and they seek to destroy it from within. This has been happening slowly for years now and it is finally something that cannot be ignored any longer. We should have started fighting this 20 years ago when the first “Press 1 for English” phone message was created.

Nothing is MORE discriminating than a country that caters ONLY to TWO languages. If they really want to be open and welcoming to other countries, not just Latin America and Mexico, then we would support ALL languages. By supporting ONLY English and Spanish, you diss the Canadians to the north who speak French. You diss the Asian immigrants. You diss the European immigrants. So why is this country so hell bent on making it a Spanish speaking country? Are there really people who would like to have us become third world Mexico because that is what will happen if you follow this path of “Latinizing” the US. To what end do we want to Latinize the US? Do all the big businesses want to replace the current US citizens with the third world poor Spanish speaking peoples? Because if that is not your goal, it sure would shock me!

Here’s the story on Target. Be warned - when you see the words “progress” and “struggle” you can be sure the writer or group has Socialist roots. These are the key words of the insurrection in the United States. Don’t be fooled!

The recent opening of a Target store in Columbia Heights in Northwest Washington, D.C., has aroused a range of emotions among community activists, local residents, and the media, from unfettered praise to cynicism and ambivalence.

One of the biggest concerns for those leery of the project is that it will permanently change the face of Columbia Heights, a diverse neighborhood with a high percentage of Spanish-speaking residents. Critics argue that even if the development benefits most people at the moment, the resulting increases in neighborhood housing prices could eventually push out some of its longest standing residents.

So, simply by stating “English only” it will drive people from the neighborhood? Because they don’t get coddling from the local stores to continue speaking only Spanish? That would be enough to make Spanish speaking people leave? Really? Well then I can’t WAIT till the entire country goes in this direction because maybe then, the Spanish only crowd will find their way back to a Spanish only country too! Waaaaah.. people don’t want to bend over and take it up the ying yang from the “Latinos” any more.. waahh our invasion and infiltration of the US is being reversed.. waaah…

Perhaps Columbia Heights would do better to invite WALMART to their neighborhood or LOWE’S. I’m sure either of these stores would be only too happy to bend to the whims of Latinos and they would be only too happy to stick it to the English speaking majority…

The other day I found myself in a local Lowe’s - if I could find what I needed at another store I would - but of course these chain stores dominate an area and push out all of our alternatives to them. So I am FORCED to shop at a store that displays EVERY sign in English and Spanish. The Spanish is only a wee bit smaller than the English. I thanked the store manager for allowing me to learn such Spanish terms as “Salida” (Exit) and “Entrada” (Enter) because where else can you shop for home improvement items AND learn Spanish! Now I feel prepared to shop in places like Southern Florida, Texas or California! How nice of them!

But the store’s decision not to include bilingual signage reflects the deeper fears of certain residents and observers: that the real question about Target and Columbia Heights gentrification isn’t whether it will have short-term benefits, but rather whether, in the long run, it will severely reduce the socioeconomic and racial diversity of the neighborhood by spurring the development of more luxury and upper-class housing.

So.. here’s a question. Why can’t a neighborhood have racial diversity without bilingual signage? Especially when that signage would ONLY support Spanish and English? I think there are plenty of neighborhoods in the US which are rich in racial diversity and the bilingual signage is not the impetus for that. So what the author of this article REALLY means is that NOT having bilingual signage will offend the Latinos. And you know what I say to them? I’m OFFENDED that you continue to demand support for YOUR language for YOUR country when you are living in OURS. Get over it already and LEARN ENGLISH like all the OTHER IMMIGRANTS!

More good news! Common sense is returning to the politicians in our State Governments. They are FINALLY seeing that following the example of the Federal Government in NOT enforcing our immigration laws is costing them big time in paid out social services, free education and increased CRIME.  I applaud this Governor for having the kahunas to make this move.

PROVIDENCE, Rhode Island  —  Linking the presence of undocumented workers to Rhode Island’s financial woes, Gov. Don Carcieri signed an executive order that includes a series of steps to combat illegal immigration.

The order signed Thursday requires state agencies and companies that do business with the state to verify the legal status of employees. It also directs the Rhode Island State Police and prison and parole officials to more aggressively find and deport illegal immigrants.

The Republican governor said he understands that illegal immigrants face hardships — but he does not want them in Rhode Island, America’s smallest state. “If you’re here illegally, you shouldn’t be here illegally. You shouldn’t be here,” Carcieri said.

Immigrant advocate Juan Garcia feared Carcieri’s proposals would drive a vulnerable community underground. He said illegal immigrants who are victims of crime will fear approaching police, and that children could suffer if parents lose their jobs.

“These people are not criminals,” he said. “This is affecting the poor people.”

Yeah keep drinking that “poor me” Kool Aid there Mr Garcia.  Let me be perfectly clear - IT IS NOT OUR FAULT THAT YOUR GOVERNMENT FORCES YOU TO FIND WORK IN ANOTHER COUNTRY.  Got it?  You all need to go the HELL home and stick up for your rights IN YOUR OWN COUNTRY!

Carcieri was testy when taking questions after signing the order. When a reporter asked if his order might embolden xenophobes, Carcieri blamed the media for inflaming the immigration debate.

So this reporter is SO typical of the average MSM reporter - embolden the xenophobes eh?  Does this asshat even know what the word xenophobe means? Here’s a definition for all who throw around this term so easily:

a person who fears or hates foreigners, strange customs, etc.

A person unduly fearful or contemptuous of that which is foreign, especially of strangers or foreign peoples.

Do you REALLY think that in this MELTING POT of people from all over the world, we are fearful of foreigners? COME ON!  It is not their “foreigness” that ticks us off. It is their ILLEGALITY and DISRESPECT for our country that ticks us off.  And let’s get this PERFECTLY straight.  WE ARE NOT FEARFUL. WE ARE PISSED OFF AT THE LACK OF ENFORCEMENT OF OUR EXISTING IMMIGRATION LAWS.  That is NOT what a Xenophobe is and we are NOT “AFRAID” of foreigners. We welcome more than 2 MILLION of those foreigners to our country every year. But what we expect of those immigrants is RESPECT for our country, our culture, our LANGUAGE and our flag.

Ever heard “when in Rome do as the Romans do”?  Well that’s the LEAST of what we expect of people who want to make the United States of America their new home.  It should not be an OPEN DOOR into a country. We cannot take EVERYONE who would like to live here.  WE HAVE A RIGHT TO  BE SELECTIVE ABOUT WHO WE ALLOW TO LIVE HERE BESIDE US.  Every country in the WORLD has an immigration policy complete with rules to select only the best to come to their country.  You will not see one single country who encourages poor people to emigrate to their country EXCEPT the US!  That’s called importing SLAVES and anyone who is FOR illegal immigration is just  a SLAVE TRADER hiding behind compassion for the poor.

The depths of the hatred this President seems to have for enforcing our border and for our men and women who protect this country at the border and overseas, can be seen clearly in his actions. Recently, for at least the second time since Compean and Ramos entered prison FOR DOING THEIR JOBS, President Bush has pardoned drug dealers and other lowlife TRUE criminals and ignored the ACTUAL INJUSTIVE suffered by these two agents and their families at the hands of this government.

It becomes clearer every day that these two are political prisoners and we can only hope that our court system, maybe the Supreme Court, can right the wrong done to these two men and shine the light on the actual criminals - The US Justice Department - Prosecutor Johnny Sutton and the President himself. All are involved in a coverup of overzealous prosecution of two men doing their jobs and since then they have been trying to cover their tracks by repeating LIES about the case.

Some day, all will be revealed and it is my hope that both agents will sue the pants of the perpetrators and sell their story to movie producers who will make the entire world aware of the wrong that has been committed here BY OUR GOVERNMENT. I believe it will be revealed that the government of George W Bush will go down in history as THE MOST CORRUPT GOVERNMENT THIS COUNTRY HAS EVER KNOWN. I apologize to America for being a sucker and voting for this retard - not once but twice. I only woke up to the truth about him around 2006 and I am SO SORRY to have contributed to putting him into office. We will never know if the alternatives would have been better Presidents. I’m guessing pretty much ANYONE would be a better President than George W Bush. His father and his family must be very ashamed to have him in their family.

President Bush is coming under fire for presidential pardons yesterday that included forgiveness for drug smugglers, an embezzler and others, but not for jailed Border Patrol agents Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean.

Ramos and Compean entered prison in January 2007 after a controversial ruling on their actions in apprehending a fleeing drug smuggler.

“I believe the president’s stolid refusal to pardon Border Patrol agents Ignacio Ramos and Jose Alonso Compean is the most unconscionable act of disloyalty he has perpetrated upon those sworn to protect our well-being. I know this feeling is shared by many other patriotic Americans,” said Mychal Massie, chairman of Project 21 and a WND columnist. “This sends a disturbing signal to the men and women who protect our borders, not to mention how it must affect the morale of those serving overseas.”
